Empower Your Journey to Wellness

Movement is medicine when we understand it.

The Mission in Action

Home or Away, it's time to play!

Black Metal

We are dedicated to strengthening the performance and long-term resilience of your facility, school, or team through clinician-led, education-first movement systems.

Our work is not built on quick fixes.
It is built on structure.

Through targeted services—movement screening, performance programming, mobility training, and restorative care—we create environments where movement is not just trained, but understood.

Every offering is built for your athletes, your demands, your culture.

Because performance is not just output.
It is capacity.
Consistency.
Awareness.

We don’t just prepare athletes to compete.
We equip them to sustain.

This is where data meets discipline.
Where recovery meets responsibility.
Where movement becomes a language your team can speak and apply.

This is the standard.

How Data Helps

Simple and Safe

Your body is always sending signals.

Sometimes it hurts.
Sometimes movement feels off.
Sometimes you’re just tired.

When your brain feels safe, your body moves better — and awareness helps make that happen.

What is the Wellness Model?

A journey to full potential that embraces lifestyle, mental, and well-being, promotes positivity, and longevity

Before there was...

Before there was AI
Before there was a Book
Before there was a Research Tech
Before there was Turf
Before there was a Clinic
Before there was a name

There was Dr. Kelly Neumann, a Physical Therapist driven to heal others— carrying a silent mission shaped by loss

Loss that didn’t come with instructions.
Loss that didn’t leave answers.
Loss that quietly reshaped how she saw pain, purpose, and responsibility.

That loss didn’t harden her.
It refined her.

The Heart of #Mission2Move

This mission was shaped by loss, refined through healing, and anchored by faith

The Recovery Room exists because sometimes the ground disappears beneath you — and you still choose to stand back up.

It’s not about giving up.

It’s about rising with awareness, purpose, and support.

This is #Mission2Move — and we rise together

Movement is more than exercise—it’s medicine, confidence, and freedom.

Rainbow Amid Clouds

In Memory of Kate

For Kate

For my sister.
My mentor.
My best friend.

There are relationships in this life that are explained.
And there are ones that are simply known.

Ours was never surface-level.
It was never casual.
It was never temporary.

It was soul.

Eighteen months apart, but always side by side—growing, competing, laughing, pushing, questioning. You sharpened me. You steadied me. You saw me before I even understood myself.

You didn’t just influence my life—
you shaped it.

You were the one who asked deeper questions.
The one who felt everything fully.
The one who refused to accept shallow answers in a complex world.

And even in your hardest moments—
you were still teaching.

Your pain was real.
Your fight was relentless.
And your story deserved to be told truthfully.

Not softened.
Not hidden.
Not rewritten.

So I made a promise.

To carry your words.
To protect your voice.
To build something that would make it matter.

Killing Kate is not the end of your story.
It is the continuation of it.

Because our connection did not end in 2016.

It is not bound by time.
It is not limited by loss.

It is still here.

In the work.
In the mission.
In the people we reach.

I still talk to you.
I still feel you.
I still move forward with you.

This mission—#Mission2Move—
is not mine alone.

It is ours.

Always and Forever.

Dr. Kelly Neumann, DPT

Dr. Kelly Neumann, PT, DPT, CIDN, is a Doctor of Physical Therapy, clinical instructor, author, and founder of Kinematics with Kelly and The Recovery Room—a clinician-led, community-centered movement ecosystem built on the #Mission2Move philosophy.

Raised in Jackson, Missouri, her foundation in sport shaped a lifelong commitment to discipline, performance, and movement literacy. She earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Maryville University in 2011 and has spent over a decade specializing in outpatient sports and orthopedic care, serving athletes, active adults, and the greater Springfield community.

Her clinical work extends into applied research and innovation, centered on quantifying movement as a form of literacy. Through the integration of VALD performance technology, Dr. Neumann utilizes objective data to measure strength, identify asymmetries, and improve neuromuscular awareness—bridging the gap between what the body is doing and what the individual understands. Her approach emphasizes that measurement is not diagnosis, but education—restoring application, ownership, and long-term sustainability in movement.

She also serves as a clinical instructor for Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) students, mentoring the next generation of clinicians in movement analysis, critical thinking, and patient-centered care.

Dr. Neumann is the co-author of Killing Kate: The Other Side of the Clipboard, a memoir written in honor of her sister and shaped by a disciplined pursuit to better understand chronic pain, mental health, and the gaps within the healthcare system—without losing structure, purpose, or professional integrity.

Through Kinematics with Kelly and The Recovery Room, she leads a proactive, education-first model integrating movement, recovery, nutrition, faith, and community—redefining wellness as a system that is built, not simply restored.

Dr. Kate Loos, DO

Dr. Kate Loos, DO, was a physician, writer, and co-author whose voice forms the foundation of Killing Kate: The Other Side of the Clipboard.

She was more than a doctor.
She was a sister, a mentor, and a best friend.

Kate pursued medicine with both intellectual rigor and deep compassion, grounded in a belief that true healing requires understanding the full connection of mind, body, and soul.

During her medical training, she developed a complex and progressive pain condition that challenged every aspect of her life. As she navigated that reality, she documented her experience with remarkable honesty—capturing the weight of invisible illness, the frustration of not being fully seen, and the resilience required to keep searching for answers.

In 2016, after a long and difficult battle with chronic pain, Dr. Loos died by suicide.

That truth is part of her story—
but it is not the entirety of her legacy.

Her words live on through this work.
Her voice continues to speak.

The connection between Kate and Kelly was never limited to time or circumstance—it is rooted in something deeper.

Soul.

A bond that continues to guide, shape, and fuel the mission forward.

Killing Kate is not just a book. It is the origin of a system.A system built from lived experience, clinical discipline, and an unwavering commitment to do better—for athletes, for patients, for families, and for the healthcare community as a whole. It stands on one belief:Movement is medicine. But understanding movement—that is power.#Mission2Move

Before we push...

Movement Profiles use objective movement data to help you understand:

How your body moves

Where strength and balance live

Where your nervous system may be guarding or compensating

This is education, not diagnosis.
Data is used to create awareness, so your brain feels safer and movement improves.

Who this is for:
✔ Athletes
✔ Active adults
✔ Teams
✔ Anyone who wants clarity before action
