Kinematics with Kelly and The Recovery Room are proud to sponsor movement analysis, movement literacy, recovery education, and athlete access for the Women’s Pro Baseball League during its historic inaugural season in Springfield, Illinois.
The commitment is roster-wide across the Boston Hunters, Los Angeles Queens, New York Heights, and San Francisco Firebells. The goal is simple: give women competing at the professional level meaningful access to objective movement information, recovery education, and a Doctor of Physical Therapy who will teach when they want to learn.
What TeamCare Gold means for WPBL athletes
Each team has a TeamCare Gold lane supporting HumanTrak postural and movement analysis, VALD objective measurement education, athlete-facing movement and recovery literacy, MoveHealth learning access, competitive and elite-athlete workshops, and DPT-led recovery pathways.
HumanTrak and VALD measurements are used to build awareness and shared language around movement. Measurement informs conversation. It does not diagnose, predict injury, determine roster status, or provide return-to-play clearance.
The more you use, the more you know
This is a longitudinal learning model. Repeated education, reflection, and objective measurement can help an athlete recognize patterns, ask better questions, understand her own movement context, and communicate more clearly with the professionals around her. One number is not the story. Better knowledge over time is the point.
MoveHealth + home movement education
Participating athletes may receive MoveHealth access for self-guided movement and recovery education and home-exercise resources. This is not automated diagnosis or medical clearance. Pain, injury, red-flag symptoms, or needs requiring individualized clinical decision-making are routed to formal evaluation and the appropriate healthcare pathway.
Workshops built for competitive and elite athletes
Workshops can vary based on what the athletes and teams want to learn. Topics may include movement literacy, recovery literacy, load awareness, preparation, shoulder and trunk movement education, lower-extremity force production, recovery habits, athlete self-advocacy, and how to understand objective performance data without letting a dashboard become the coach, clinician, or crystal ball.
Recovery care when the athlete requests it
DPT-led pre-game and post-game recovery access may include appropriate joint and soft-tissue mobilization and recovery modalities when requested, clinically appropriate, consented, and documented as required. Individualized physical therapy remains evaluation-first care and is separate from general TeamCare education.
Built around the WPBL schedule
Our current service window includes scheduled weekend DPT access and additional game-day coordination around the WPBL schedule when requested, with the mission of maximizing access to education, movement literacy, and recovery support while the athletes are here in Springfield.

If you want to learn, I will teach. If you want to understand your data, we will walk through it together. If you need clinical care, we move through the appropriate clinical pathway. Science + Sport + Soul, with the athlete at the center.
